Power System Model for Whitehaven Coal

About the Project

For Whitehaven Coal, we were engaged to develop the power system model in our software.

A focal point was undertaking the analysis of protection systems and ARC Flash energy levels to determine the safety of personnel, undertaking switching operations.

We designed fully automated crushing plants. The systems could detect when conveyor systems become overloaded and could automatically slow the processing down.

We also introduced fail-safes to keep the plant safe and prevent it from burying itself in product.
